Perris, California (July 14, 2020) – One of the two Perris residents who died following a fiery crash in the area of Perris, Monday morning, has been identified as 69-year-old Maria Navarro, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office reported.
The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Harley Knox Boulevard and Patterson Avenue, just about 11:45 a.m.
The accident involved an automobile traveling at high speed and a second vehicle that crashed at the Perris intersection in the morning hours.
Due to the impact, one of the involved automobiles caught fire.
Firefighters responded at the scene and extricated one person who was pinned inside the wreckage.

Two victims, including Maria Navarro, were pronounced dead at the crash site.
The wreck resulted in the closure of the highway for an unknown duration.
The fatal accident remains under an active investigation.
