Antioch, CA: 2 Hospitalized after Boating Accident at Fulton Shipyard Marina
Jet Ski Collides with Bass Boat in Antioch, Sending 2 to the Hospital
Antioch, California (July 10, 2020) – Two people were sent to the hospital Wednesday evening after a jet ski collided with a bass boat in Antioch, a local news source reported.
Contra Costa County firefighters and sheriff’s deputies responded to Fulton Shipyard Marina after receiving reports of the accident at about 7:22 p.m.
Authorities said both occupants of the boat and the Jet Ski were hospitalized after they were brought to the marina. The extent of their injuries was not mentioned.
The factors leading to the crash remained unknown, but an investigation is ongoing.
The crash left the Jet Ski destroyed and the bass boat with damage to its side.
