Motorcyclist Sustains Major Injuries in Modesto Traffic Accident at 9th Street and Sonora Avenue
Modesto, California (July 9, 2020) – A rider was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a traffic collision at an intersection in Modesto Thursday morning.
The major injury crash happened at approximately 11:10 a.m. at 9th Street and Sonora Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish the circumstances that led to the collision of a big rig truck and a motorcycle at the Modesto intersection.
Motorcycle and Truck Involved in Major Injury Modesto Crash
The truck motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries in the wreck. The patient was rushed to an area hospital by an ambulance for further treatment.
Officials requested a tow truck to remove the motorbike away from the scene of the accident.
An investigation into the mishap is underway.
