Oakland, California (July 8, 2020) – Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Oakland on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 3:27 p.m. July 8, in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 Freeway near San Pablo Avenue.
A Toyota Sienna and a Honda Civic were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established. The Toyota had front end damage while the Honda had major left side damage.

As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment in unknown condition.
