Man Killed in Victorville Motorcycle Accident on Highway 395 near Bear Valley Road and La Mesa Road

Victorville, California (June 20, 2020) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday evening in Victorville, according to authorities.
At about 5:30 p.m., on June 19, the officials responded to the fatal crash on Highway 395 between Bear Valley Road and La Mesa Road.
The police said a white-colored truck with an attached trailer hauling party equipment was traveling northbound on Highway 395.
The truck then made a U-turn to head southbound on Highway 395 to avoid heavy traffic from a previous non-injury crash.
A white Honda Interceptor motorcycle, operated by a man, was also traveling northbound on the roadway. The motorcyclist struck the side of the pickup truck as the truck was completing the U-turn.

The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was uninjured in the mishap.
Following the accident, the northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 395 were closed as authorities investigated the scene. As of 10:00 p.m., Highway 395 was reopened.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
