Rider Injured in Inyo County Motorcycle Accident on U.S. Highway 395 near Fort Independence Road
Inyo County, California (June 12, 2020) – A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision with a semi-truck Friday afternoon in Independence, Inyo County.
The accident happened at around 1:03 p.m. on U.S. Highway 395 near Fort Independence Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the semi-truck was making a U-turn on the highway when, for unknown reasons, it struck the motorcyclist.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and rendered aid to the rider who sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The name and condition of the patient were not immediately disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
