2 Killed and 3 Injured in Multi-Car Crash at West Main Street and Black Road in Santa Maria

Santa Maria, California (June 5, 2020) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision that left three people injured in Santa Maria on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6:05 p.m. June 5, at the intersection of West Main Street and Black Road near Bonita School Road.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department said three vehicles were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

Two people died in the accident.
One person was airlifted to Cottage Hospital with serious injuries while two other people sustained minor injuries. The firefighters had to extricate the patients from the heavily damaged cars.
