3 Killed in Mentone Plane Crash near Mill Creek Road
Mentone, California (June 5, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Friday afternoon plane crash that killed three people east of Mentone in San Bernardino County.
The crash happened at about 4:00 p.m. in the area of 3055 Mill Creek Road, also known as Highway 38.
As per the police report, a single-engine Cessna 172 plane crashed down for unknown reasons.
First responders arrived at the scene to assist the victims involved in the crash.
Sadly, three people in the plane were pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details about the accident were immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
