Bay Point, California (May 28, 2020) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after a two-car collision that occurred Wednesday night in Bay Point, Contra Costa County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident transpired at about 8:27 p.m. on the Bailey Road on-ramp to westbound Highway 4.
Authorities said the two vehicles collided for reasons yet to be established.
One person sustained a major laceration to the head. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Bailey On-Ramp to westbound Highway 4 was shut down to allow an investigation.
