Alejandro Corrales ID’d as Man Killed in Nuevo Car Crash on Ramona Expressway near Sixth Street
Nuevo, California (May 22, 2020) – The man who died in a head-on crash Wednesday morning east of Nuevo has been identified as Alejandro Corrales, 23, of Perris
The fatal crash, involving a sedan and pickup truck, happened at around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, on the Ramona Expressway, just east of Sixth Street.
The California Highway Patrol said a Toyota Corolla, driven by Corrales, was heading eastbound on the Ramona Expressway when, for unknown reasons, it collided head-on with a Ford F-150 pickup that was traveling westbound on the expressway.

Corrales was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Ford, a 68-year-old Nuevo resident, declined hospitalization.
