Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on 215 Freeway in Perris Identified
Perris, California (May 21, 2020) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who died after colliding with a car Wednesday morning in Perris as Frank Jones.
The 58-year-old Menifee resident died in the crash that happened at about 1:40 a.m. on southbound 215 Freeway near Harley Knox Boulevard.
Authorities responding to the scene found Jones down in the No. 1 lane and pronounced him dead at the scene.
There was no other person injured in the accident, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said.
Debris from the crash was scattered across the freeway.
A stretch of the southbound lanes of the freeway was closed as authorities investigated.
