Rider Killed in Seal Beach Motorcycle Crash on San Diego (405) Freeway

Seal Beach, California (April 27, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances that led to a fatal motorcycle accident in Seal Beach Sunday morning.
The April 26 crash took place in the northbound lanes of San Diego (405) Freeway, just south of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway at round 4:07 a.m.
The accident happened when a rider who was traveling on the San Diego Freeway crashed into the right shoulder wall. The motorcyclist was then ejected into the freeway lanes upon the impact and was hit by two automobiles.

Sadly, the rider died in the accident.
The crash resulted in the closure of all northbound lanes of the 405 Freeway, and motorists were diverted off at the Seventh Street exit.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
