Motorcyclist Dies in Concord Collision on Clayton Road near Heather Drive

Concord, California (April 25, 2020) – A motorcyclist died as a result of a collision involving a vehicle on Friday morning in Concord, according to Concord police.

The crash took place just before 7:15 a.m. April 24, on Clayton Road near Heather Drive.

According to police, the rider was heading west on Clayton Road when he collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Heather Drive.

Rider Killed in Concord Motorcycle Crash

The rider was taken to John Muir Health, Walnut Creek Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.

The other driver remained at the scene after the crash. The driver was only identified as a 46-year-old Pittsburg resident.

Police said alcohol and drugs do not appear to have played a role in this accident.

An investigation is ongoing.
