Antioch, CA: At Least 1 Injured in Big Rig Crash on Highway 4 near Lone Tree Way

Antioch, California (April 11, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a traffic collision involving a big rig truck in Antioch Friday morning.

The multi-vehicle crash happened on California Delta Highway 4 just west of A Street and Lone Tree Way at around 5:50 a.m.

The CHP said the accident involved several vehicles that collided on the highway for unknown reasons.

Officials identified some of the involved vehicles as a dark-colored SUV and the green cab semi-tractor trailer truck.

At Least 1 Hurt in Antioch Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 4 near Lone Tree Way

At least one person received first aid treatment from medical personnel who responded at the scene shortly after the wreck.

One unidentified person with minor injuries was picked up by their parents, but it was not mentioned whether or not the victim was transported to the hospital for further aid.

The crash resulted in the closure of the roadway up to about 6:45 a.m.

The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
