Lenore Robertson Killed in Chico Car Accident at W 8th and Broadway Streets
Victim In Deadly Crash at West 8th and Broadway Streets in Chico Identified as Lenore Robertson
Chico, California (April 11, 2020) – Authorities have identified the woman who was killed Thursday morning in a traffic accident involving two vehicles in Chico as Lenore Robertson, 22, of Chico.
The 5:00 a.m. collision took place in the area of West Eighth and Broadway streets.
Investigators said two vehicles collided at the intersection of West Eighth and Broadway streets. One of the drivers, now identified as Robertson, ran a red light at the intersection and caused the collision.
Robertson died at the scene while her two female passengers were transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The 24-year-old male driver and his passenger in the second vehicle were not hurt following the crash. Both stopped at the scene and were cooperative, police said.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
