Jose Casas and Joe Padilla Injured in San Luis Obispo Car Crash on Highway 46 near Lucy Brown Road

Shandon, California – The authorities have disclosed the identity of the truck drivers who were injured in a collision in the Shandon area of San Luis Obispo on Thursday morning.
The accident happened at about 7:35 a.m. April 9, on Highway 46 on the Cholame Creek bridge near Lucy Brown Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
54-year-old Joe Padilla of Bakersfield was driving a 2013 Dodge Ram 3500 flatbed truck eastbound on the roadway when he lost control and drifted into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a fully loaded 2018 Freightliner tractor operated by 47-year-old Jose Casas, of Indiana.

The authorities said Padilla sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Casas also sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
