1 Killed in Pacoima Pedestrian Accident on N San Fernando Road
Pacoima, California (April 8, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a fatal pedestrian accident that took place in the area of Pacoima Tuesday morning.
The deadly pedestrian crash happened in the 9800 block of N San Fernando Road at about 10:43 a.m. on April 7.
According to a local news source, the pedestrian was hit by a Metrolink AV line Train no. 212 for reasons still under an active investigation.
Sadly, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Officials affirmed that none of the passengers and crews aboard the train was hurt as a result of the crash.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the accident.
