1 Injured in East Los Angeles Bicycle Accident at N Eastman Avenue and E 1st Street
East Los Angeles, California (April 7, 2020) – A bicyclist is nursing serious injuries sustained in a DUI crash that happened Monday night at an intersection in East Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident transpired at about 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of N Eastman Avenue and E 1st Street.
First responders found the rider and a possible black Honda Accord involved in the crash.
Officers said alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash but did not give more details.
The cyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries.
An investigation into the crash is in progress.
