Major Injuries Sustained in 215 Freeway Crash near Central Avenue in Riverside
Riverside, California (April 7, 2020) – Authorities said major injuries were sustained when multiple vehicles collided Monday afternoon in Riverside.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved five cars and occurred at about 4:20 p.m. on northbound 215 Freeway near Central Avenue.
As per the report, one person was possibly ejected from one of the cars and was hit by another.
The crash resulted in major injuries to an unknown number of parties. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the victims.
Officers closed all northbound lanes of the freeway for an unknown period following the collision.
At least four of the cars were towed away from the collision scene.
CHP is investigating the crash.
