1 Killed in Anderson Pedestrian Accident on Highway 273 near Alexander Avenue
Anderson, California (March 24, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday morning in Anderson, a local news source reported.
The fatal pedestrian accident was reported on SR-273 near Alexander Avenue just before 3:00 a.m. March 23.
As per the Anderson Police report, the pedestrian was hit by a car on the highway for unknown reasons.
Medical personnel responded at the crash site and found the victim laying on the roadway.

The unidentified pedestrian died following the wreck. Meanwhile, it was not mentioned whether or not the victim died at the scene or in a hospital.
The operator of the involved vehicle appeared uninjured after the accident.
The crash resulted in the closure of one lane of Highway 273 as investigation and clean up took place.
The roadway was reopened at around 4:30 a.m. Monday.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
