Alex Martinez Killed in Salinas Pedestrian Crash on San Juan Grade Road
Salinas, California (February 25, 2020) – The boy who was struck by a vehicle on Thursday night in Salinas has sadly succumbed to his injuries, according to a local news source.
The fatal collision happened at about 10:19 p.m. February 20, on San Juan Grade Road.
Police said Alex Martinez, 14, got out of a parked car and attempted to run across San Juan Grade Road. That’s when he was hit by a car.

Martinez was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The involved driver stayed at the scene after the crash and cooperated with the police.
Police are conducting an investigation into the accident.
