Edgar Moso Seriously Injured in Hopland Car Crash on Highway 101 near Green Bridge

Hopland, California (February 22, 2020) – Edgar Moso, 26, of Upper Lake was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash that happened Thursday morning in Hopland, a local news source reported.
The crash occurred at about 8:09 a.m. February 20, on Highway 101 near the Green Bridge.
As per the article, Hopland Fire Protection District, the Ukiah Valley Fire Authority, MedStar, Calstar, and Caltrans responded to the scene where multiple vehicles had collided.
According to investigators, 35-year-old David Tankersley, of Santa Rosa was driving a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup north on Highway 101 when, for unknown reasons, he drifted across the solid-double yellow lines and collided head-on with an oncoming 2019 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Moso.
Moso then lost control and drifted into the northbound lanes, where he was hit by a 2016 Freightliner tow truck driven by 28-year-old Jonathan Balderas, of Pittsburg.
A southbound 2020 Ford Fusion driven by 22-year-old Michelle Galindo, of Arcata also collided with Moso’s vehicle.

Moso sustained major injuries and was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Galindo suffered moderate injuries and was also taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Balderas had minor injuries and sought his own treatment. Tankersley was not injured.
All vehicles had to be towed from the scene after the collision.
The Caltrans and Mendocino County Environmental Health cleared a minor fuel spill caused by the crash.
