Hopland, CA: 1 Airlifted after Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 near Green Bridge
2 Injured in Hopland Car Crash on Highway 101 near Green Bridge Thursday Morning

Hopland, California (February 20, 2020) – Two people were injured, one seriously after a multi-vehicle crash that happened Thursday morning in Hopland, a local news source reported.
The crash occurred at about 8:09 a.m. on Highway 101 near the Green Bridge.
As per the article, Hopland Fire Protection District, the Ukiah Valley Fire Authority, MedStar, Calstar, and Caltrans responded to the scene where six vehicles had collided.
Chief Mitch Franklin of the HFPD said firefighters found one car on fire and quickly extinguished it. An occupant trapped in that car was extricated and airlifted to Santa Rosa with serious injuries. A second patient was transported to Adventist Health Ukiah Valley with unspecified injuries.
Debris from the collision was scattered on the roadway.
The crash completely closed the highway at one point, but one lane was later reopened.
The cause of the crash remained unknown, but the California Highway Patrol was investigating.
