Concord, CA: Motorcyclist Seriously Injured after Colliding with Car on Northbound Highway 242
Rider Hospitalized after Concord Motorcycle Accident on Highway 242 near Port Chicago Highway Off-Ramp

Concord, California (February 19, 2020) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries when he collided with a car Tuesday evening on a highway in Concord, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to CHP, a car of unknown make and model cut off a motorcycle at about 7:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 242, just south of Port Chicago Highway off-ramp and Highway 4, causing the rider to crash into the vehicle.
The motorcyclist was found down by first responders on the right-hand shoulder with a broken left leg. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Firefighters blocked the lanes Nos. 1 and 2 following the crash.
CHP is investigating the collision.
