Garden Grove, CA: CHP Investigating Serious Injury Car Crash on Highway 22
Serious Injuries Sustained in Garden Grove Collision on Eastbound Highway 22 near Fairview Street Off-Ramp
Garden Grove, California (February 18, 2020) – Authorities responded to the scene of a serious injury accident that happened Monday evening on Highway 22 in Garden Grove.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the highway just east of Fairview Street off-ramp at about 7:00 p.m.
The manner and cause of the accident remained unknown at the time of the report.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid and transport at least one person who suffered serious injuries to the hospital.
Authorities blocked the Nos. 1, 2, and 3 lanes following the crash.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
