Colfax Car Collision on 80 Freeway near Highway 174 Results in Major Injuries
Colfax, California (February 18, 2020) – Authorities said at least one person was seriously hurt in a multi-car accident that happened Monday afternoon in Colfax.
The California Highway Patrol reported that three vehicles collided at about 2 p.m. in the westbound lanes of 80 Freeway, just a mile east of Highway 174.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to find at least one person with serious injuries. The victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash is under an active investigation.
