Sacramento, California (February 11, 2020) – A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday evening in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash took place at about 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Las Palmas Avenue and Rio Linda Boulevard.
The circumstances that lead to the collision were not immediately disclosed at the time of the report.
Sacramento police said the operator of the involved vehicle remained at the scene after hitting the pedestrian.
