Man Killed in Santa Monica Train Crash near Lincoln Boulevard and Colorado Avenue
Santa Monica, California (January 27, 2020) – A man was on Sunday morning struck and killed by a train in Santa Monica, according to a police report.
The incident took place near the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Colorado Avenue at about 6 a.m. January 26.
According to the report, a homeless man was hit by a Metro Line train on the tracks for unknown reasons.

The victim, who was not identified pending notification of the next of kin, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No injuries were reported by the train’s occupants.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
