Aler Roldan Killed in Car Accident on Highway 25 near Bolsa Road in Gilroy, Santa Clara
Gilroy, California (January 8, 2019) – A San Jose man who was killed in a car accident in Gilroy on Thursday, January 2, has been identified.
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a car crash in Gilroy on Thursday last week.
The deadly car crash happened at about 9:10 p.m. on Highway 25 near Bolsa Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Aler Enriquez Roldan, 42, of San Jose, was driving a Ford van and was pulling out of a private driveway when he collided with a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jesus Rodriguez, 34, of Hollister.
Roldan was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 39-year-old man who was riding in the van sustained major injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
No other information about the accident was provided
The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
