San Bernardino, California (December 24, 2019) – Four people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that occurred early Saturday morning in San Bernardino, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The collision took place at about 3:38 a.m. on northbound 215 Freeway near 210 Freeway.

Authorities said four vehicles, including an older model Toyota and a gray 4-door sedan collided for unknown reasons. Debris from the crash was filled in all the lanes.

Four people were injured in the crash. At least one of the patients sustained major injuries. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victims to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.

Tow trucks were needed to remove the vehicles from the crash scene.

CHP is investigating the accident.
