30-Year-Old Man Killed in Sacramento Pedestrian Crash on Highway 99 near Mack Road
Sacramento, California (December 23, 2019) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by vehicle on Sunday night in south Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 6:20 p.m. December 22, on Highway 99 north of Mack Road.
CHP said a 30-year-old man was walking across Highway 99 when he was struck by a Dodge pickup truck.
Man Dies in Sacramento Pedestrian Crash
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Impairment was not suspected to be a factor in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
