9 Injured in Fairfield Head-On Collision on I-80 near Chadbourne Road
Fairfield, California (December 23, 2019) – Several people were injured in a crash involving a wrong-way driver on Saturday morning in Fairfield, according to the authorities.
The crash happened at about 12:03 a.m. December 21, on I-80 near Chadbourne Road.
According to the report, a white Toyota Corolla westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-80 when it collided head-on with two oncoming vehicles.
Nine Injured in Fairfield Head-On Collision
Nine people were transported to NorthBay Medical Center and one of them had critical injuries.
Police arrested the driver of the Toyota on suspicion of DUI.
The crash is under investigation.
