63-Year-Old Man Dies after Merced Pedestrian Crash on Yosemite Parkway near Marthella Avenue
Merced, California (December 21, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that left 63-year-old man dead on Wednesday evening in the area of Merced.
The crash happened at an unspecified time on Yosemite Parkway near Marthella Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, the elderly man was struck by a vehicle for unknown reasons.

The man suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. It was unclear if the pedestrian died at the scene or at a hospital. The name of the victim was not released awaiting notification of family.
It was not immediately known if the involved driver remained at the scene or fled after the accident.
