Salinas, California (December 20, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a traffic collision that resulted in unspecified injuries to three victims in Salinas last week on Friday night.
The two-vehicle collision happened at about 10:07 p.m. December 13, in the area of Sala and Harrison roads near Highway 101.
Authorities said a GMC Sierra 3500 pickup collided with a Toyota Camry at the intersection for undisclosed reasons.
Due to the impact, the Toyota Camry acquired major front-end damage.
3 Injured After Two-Car Crash in Salinas, December 13
Three people sustained unspecified injuries in the crash. The unidentified victims were attended to by medical personnel who responded to the scene shortly after the wreck.
It was not mentioned whether or not the patients were taken to the hospitals for further treatment.
Meanwhile, a male party was seen running southbound on Harrison Road after the wreck.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
