1 Killed in Santa Barbara Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101
Santa Barbara, California (December 21, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle Friday evening on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara, a local news source reported.
The accident happened at about 6:15 p.m. near the La Cumbre Road off-ramp.
CHP said the pedestrian was walking across the roadway to the center divider when they was struck by the vehicle.
The victim died in the accident.
There were no details given about the driver involved.
CHP is investigating the accident.
