1 Killed in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 8 Freeway
San Diego, California (December 20, 2019) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a wrong-way driver was killed in a traffic collision in the area of Grantville on Thursday night.
The collision happened on the Interstate 8 Freeway shortly before 11:30 p.m. December 19.
As per the CHP report, an unidentified motorist traveling the wrong way on the I-8 Freeway crashed his vehicle, stepped out, and was struck by two other vehicles of unspecified built.
The initial report indicated that the driver had been moving southbound on the Interstate 805 Freeway before he exited onto the I-8 Freeway and entered the westbound side traveling eastbound.
The wreck involved a total of four vehicles, including Acura, according to the police.

The victim died in the crash.
Meanwhile, no other people were injured following the accident.
