Four Hurt in Apple Valley Car Collision on Kiowa Road and Ocotillo Way

Apple Valley, California (December 17, 2019) – Four people were injured Monday morning in a traffic accident involving six vehicles at an intersection in Apple Valley, according to a local news source.

The crash took place at around 6:44 a.m. Monday, December 16, at the intersection of Kiowa Road and Ocotillo Way.

Emergency crews responded to the crash site and found several vehicles blocking the roadway. One person was trapped inside a red Dodge and had to extricated by firefighters.

A witness told the authorities that a white van, driven by a woman, was following too close to another vehicle, which was trying to make a left-hand turn.

The woman tried to avoid the crash, but instead she ended up striking a man who was standing outside his parked pickup truck.

4 Hurt in Six-Car Collision on Kiowa Road in Apple Valley

A total of four people were transported by ambulance to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Their names and conditions at this time were not disclosed.

All the vehicles were towed away from the crash site.

Kiowa Road was blocked for several hours as the investigation and cleanup took place.

The accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
