Josie Montijo Killed in Desert Center Crash on Interstate 10 near Desert Center Rice Road
Desert Center, California (December 16, 2019) – The woman who was killed in a traffic collision in Desert Center on Sunday night has been identified as Josie Montijo, 33, of El Centro, according to the authorities.
The crash happened at about 10:17 p.m. December 15, on Interstate 10 near Desert Center Rice Road.
Authorities said three vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred in the westbound lanes of the interstate.

Montijo was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
Two other parties sustained minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
