Man Critically Injured in Pomona Pedestrian Crash near Holt Avenue and Reservoir Street
Pomona, California (December 16, 2019) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night in Pomona, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 10:26 p.m. December 15, near Holt Avenue and Reservoir Street.
According to the report, the man was walking in the area when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Jesus Zegal.
Man Critical after Pomona Pedestrian Collision
The emergency crews responded to the incident and found the victim in the traffic lanes suffering from severe injuries and was unresponsive.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
Zegal remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Authorities said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
