68-Year-Old Woman Killed in Mira Mesa Pedestrian Crash at Black Mountain Road and Mira Mesa Boulevard
Mira Mesa, California (December 15, 2019) – A woman was fatally hit by a vehicle on Saturday afternoon in Mira Mesa, according to the San Diego police.
The collision took place at around 2:50 p.m. December 14, in the 10800 block of Black Mountain Road at Mira Mesa Boulevard.
Police said the 68-year-old woman was walking on the sidewalk in front of the Bank of America driveway when she tried to cross and was hit by a 2006 Ford F250.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Ford, a 43-year-old man, reportedly tried to flee the scene but was detained.
Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
