One Hospitalized after Eureka Truck Crash on Highway 101 at Indianola Cutoff
Eureka, California (December 10, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision involving a U.S. Post Office mail truck on Monday evening in Eureka, according to the CHP.
The crash was reported at about 6:20 p.m. December 9, on Highway 101 at the Indianola Cutoff.
CHP said the mail truck was trying to turn left onto Highway 101 from the Indianola Cutoff when it struck a northbound white vehicle. The vehicle rolled over and came to rest on its side on the shoulder of the road.

A passenger in the white vehicle was transported to a hospital with head lacerations.
No other injuries were reported.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the incident.
