2 Hospitalized After Santa Ana Hit-and-Run Car Accident at Newhope Street and McFadden Avenue
Santa Ana, California (December 9, 2019) – A woman and an 8-year-old girl were hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision that happened in the area of Santa Ana on Sunday night, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
The two-vehicle collision, which happened at around 11:00 p.m. December 8, occurred at Newhope Street and McFadden Avenue.
As per the report, a pickup truck slammed into an SUV at the intersection for unknown reasons.
1 Injured After 2 Vehicles Crashed in Santa Ana
The woman and child who were in the SUV sustained unspecified injuries in the crash. The two victims were rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Officials said the male suspect driving the pickup got out of the vehicle and fled the scene.
Meanwhile, police arrested him near the crash scene and was charged for hit-and-run causing injuries.
The investigation is underway.
