Man Arrested after Hit-and-Run Crash that Killed Patricia Williamson in Parkland
Patricia Williamson Killed in Parkland Car Crash near 138th Street South and Yakima Avenue

Parkland, Washington (December 9, 2,019) – A 30-year-old Spanaway man was arrested in connection to a hit-and-run car crash that killed 69-year-old Patricia Williamson, a local news source reported.
The suspect was arrested Sunday afternoon after he showed up at the hospital seeking treatment of injuries consistent with a car crash. Hospital staffers grew suspicious and alerted police who connected him to the hit-and-run.
The crash happened Saturday night near 138th Street South and Yakima Avenue in Parkland.
Authorities said the suspect was driving a white Ford Econoline when he crashed into a Ford Escape at around 9:00 p.m.
Williamson was driving the Ford and died in the crash.
Authorities said within 8 minutes of the crash, the suspect was seen moving items from the crashed van into a smaller van. He was being assisted by an accomplice who is now being sought by police.
