1 Sustained Serious Injuries in Gardena Bicycle Accident on E. Compton Boulevard and S. Main Street
Gardena, California (December 7, 2019) – A bicyclist was struck and injured by a vehicle in the area of Gardena on Thursday afternoon, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The bicycle collision took place at about 4:17 p.m. December 5 at E. Compton Boulevard and S. Main Street.
As per the report, a bicyclist was hit by a blue Infiniti SUV at the intersection for unknown reasons.
The bicyclist sustained serious injuries in the crash. Officials said the victim was transported to a local hospital by an ambulance for treatment.
The current condition and the identity of the injured party have not yet been released to this time.
The investigation is underway.
