1 Airlifted after Victorville Car Collision at Duncan and Monte Vista Roads
Victorville, California (December 7, 2019) – Two people were injured when two vehicles collided Friday afternoon at an intersection in Victorville, a local news source reported.
The crash involved a Ford Ranger pickup truck and a Honda truck.
Officers responded to Duncan and Monte Vista roads, just north of Bear Valley Road, at about 3:07 p.m.
Firefighters had to extricate at least one person from one of the pickup trucks.
One person was airlifted to a trauma center with unspecified injuries. Authorities said due to weather conditions, the victim was flown to a trauma center in Antelope Valley, nearly 60 miles away. A second victim suffered unknown injuries.
The intersection remained closed as investigators worked the scene.
