Reedley Man Killed in Car Crash on Reed Avenue near Adams Avenue in Reedley, Fresno County
Reedley, California (December 6, 2019) – A 57-year-old Reedley man was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Thursday evening in Reedley, Fresno County, according to the CHP.
The fatal collision happened on Reed Avenue near Adams Avenue at about 4 p.m. on December 5.
The California Highway Patrol said a semi-truck was traveling southbound on Reedley and was making a turn onto Adams when it collided with a Ford Bronco that was traveling northbound on Reedley.

The driver of the Bronco, identified as a 57-year-old Reedley resident, was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters. He was then transported to Adventist Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the big rig was unhurt and remained at the scene.
CHP said alcohol and drugs were unlikely factors in the crash. The big rig driver may be facing misdemeanour manslaughter charges in connection with the crash.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
