Edwardo De Arellano Arrested For Parlier DUI Multi-Vehicle Accident Near Manning and Zediker Avenues
Parlier, California (December 5, 2019) – According to the California Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Edwardo Alfaro De Arellano of Reedley was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and causing an accident that injured ten victims in Parlier on Monday night.
The four-vehicle collision happened at around 8:30 p.m. on December 2, in the area of Manning and Zediker avenues.
The CHP said De Arellano was allegedly traveling 80 to 90 miles per hour on Manning Avenue when he struck the rear of an Audi SUV traveling on the same road.
The SUV veered into the opposite lane upon the impact and hit by another car.
The initial report indicated that a fourth vehicle, possibly a truck, subsequently crashed into the first two vehicles.
10 Hospitalized After DUI Multi-Vehicle Crash in Parlier
A total of ten victims, including four children, sustained unspecified injuries in the wreck. All patients were attended to by paramedics and then transported to local hospitals for further medication.
The names of the injured parties and their current condition have not yet been released to this time.
