3 Injured in Car Accident on 280 Freeway near Highway 87 in San Jose
San Jose, California (December 4, 2019) – Three people were injured in a 7-vehicle collision on Interstate 280 Freeway in San Jose on Wednesday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred on northbound I-280 Freeway near Highway 87 at about 5:35 a.m.
The firefighters responded to the incident and found seven vehicles at the scene of the accident. A white pickup truck had pinned one dark-colored sedan to the center divider.

Two people were trapped inside the sedan and a truck had to be extricated by the paramedics.
The two and one other patient were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The collision blocked traffic down to McLaughlin Avenue.
