Woman Seriously Injured in Palm Springs Pedestrian Accident on Indian Canyon Drive near Tachevah Drive

Palm Springs, California (November 29, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle Wednesday night in Palm Springs, according to a local news source.
The accident happened shortly after 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, November 27 on Indian Canyon between the area of Tachevah and Mel drives.
According to authorities, a woman was hit by a car on the Indian Canyon drive for an unknown reason.

Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the pedestrian who sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. The patient was then transported to a hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.
The roadway was shut down following the accident. As of 12:30 a.m. Thursday, the road was reopened.
There were no details about the involved driver.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
