Inyo County, CA: 2-Vehicle Accident on Highway 395 in Bishop
1 Seriously Injured in Bishop Crash on Highway 395 near Shermin Summit
Inyo County, California (November 28, 2019) – One person was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-car accident in Bishop, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place at around 2:52 p.m. Wednesday, November 27 on Highway 395 near the Shermin Summit.
As per the CHP report, a white Chevrolet pickup truck collided with a black Porsche on the southbound side of Highway 395 for an undetermined reason. As a result of the crash, one of the vehicles involved sustained front-end damage.
Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 395 in Inyo County
Emergency crews responded to the scene and rendered aid to one person who sustained major injuries in the crash. The patient was then taken to a hospital for treatment. The name of the victim and their condition at this time were not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
